I drove
it to its first car show in the summer of 2003, British Car Field
Days in Sussex, Wisconsin. I was the only British Ford there and
received many good comments. I was the high bidder on an Ebay auction
for this car. I had it hauled in from Vermont to Wisconsin. It is
a 3 owner car that is mostly original. The factory 1500 has never
been opened up. I have a rebuild kit for the Weber, new strut inserts
and shocks and a rust free header that I need to install. A new
set of carpets and a good cleaning is all the interior needed. I
am gathering parts to paint the car eventually. If you have any
'64 Cortina parts let me know at mirglip@charter.net
I could use the Consul badge for the bonnet, tail light bezels
and center caps for the ATS wheels. I am a member of the North American
English Ford Registry. Check it out at http://clubs.hemmings.com/ frameset.cfm?club=NAEFR |
