The 1958 Thunderbird was my birthday present from Carol, my wife. It made the trek to the Iola Old Car Show in 2005 with only minor problems. I had the front end rebuilt, updated the wipers to electric and updated to Pertronix electronic ignition. It was repainted in the 70's in the original Cameo Rose with a Winterset White top. There has been some work done on the original black and white interior including a new dash pad. The engine is the original 352 Police Interceptor and has never been opened up. It does have a power steering leak that I hope a new set of hoses will help.There are some rust issues to be addressed but overall it is solid and straight. The hubcaps are from a '72 T-Bird. It does grab attention wherever we go. Thanks to Nels for being the caretaker of the T-Bird the past couple of decades.
